INDIA PRIOR TO MUSLIM CONQUEST.
India was one of the world's top civilizations with significant achievements in science, mathematics, literature, philosophy, medicine, astronomy, architecture etc.
People used to visit India to collect documents and texts on science, mathamatics and medicine etc.
Pre-Islamic India had a great tradition in creating magnificent sculptures. After the coming of muslim invaders Indian craftsmen mixed Islamic ideas to their own.
Hinduism is a worldwide religious tradition that is based on the Vedas, and is the direct descendant of the Vedic religion. Hinduism evolved from a monolithic religion in to a multitude of traditions over a period of 1500 years.
UDDHISM IN INDIA.
Buddhism known in ancient India as Buddha Dharma originated in northern India especially today's Bihar.Up to the 9th century buddhists numbered in the hundreds of thousands.
CHRISTIANITY IN INDIA
Christianity arrived in India in the 1st century through the apostle St. Thomas. He converted many South Indians. Later it spread to northern part of India.
ISLAM IN INDIA
Islam arrived in India during the 8th century. Most of the muslims were converted during the Mughal period.
SIKHISM
Sikhism was founded in India about
400 years ago.
INDIAN JEWS
The Jews arrived in India 2500 years ago and settled down in Cochin.
Considering all the above facts India (ancient) was the main attraction for the invaders.
In other words all muslims, christians, buddhists and sikhs were hindues. Their DNA is Hindu.
